    I just throw a bunch of shit in my kitchen aid and mix it up. I can give you an estimate though. 2 sticks of real butter at room temperature, 1/2 cup shortening, 1 block of cream cheese, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa, 3 cups powdered sugar, milk I just add about one cup and add more gradually til consistency is right. One regular size box of instant chocolate pudding. One tablespoon of vanilla. I literally let the mixer run on medium ( start on stir so powdered sugar doesn’t go everywhere) for at least 10 minutes. It fluffs and gets smooth the longer you mix. It was SO good and not too sweet. Then refrigerate it about an hour before frosting. I didn’t wait long enough and had to put the whole frosted cake in the refrigerator to set the icing. Also the cook time on the cake was 27-28 minutes. Don’t listen to the recipe that says 30-35. To adjust consistency add more milk to thin or more powdered sugar to thicken. I go back and forth for awhile to get it right. Lol I could have eaten it with a spoon. You have to make a lot of icing to frost this cake as it’s massive. I had some leftover so I put it in a Tupperware and froze it and will thaw it to ice cupcakes with in the future.
