    A) As soon as they are cleared to open, willing to go immediately

    B) Want to give it a few months after they are cleared to open, just to make sure everything is OK

    C) Will wait until a vaccine is approved or some medical advances that make me feel a lot more comfortable, even if it's a year or more.

I guess my answer is A. I have 2 scheduled vacations..... June 17-19 and July 1-5th. If they are open we will be there :)

Had to cancel my April trip and am ready to reschedule as soon as the Cosmo reopens. I will probably wait a week or two to give the resort some time to get things running smoothly again.

I have a trip planned from May 6-10. If the strip is open I'll be there. Otherwise I'll just wait for my September trip.

Somewhere between B and C. There may not be a vaccine, but maybe some other treatment or reassurance that things are under control.

I'm between A and B. I'd go soon after opening, but depending on when that is I probably won't have the time off to make it happen.

I think ideally I wouldn't go any sooner than 2 weeks after they opened just to give the resort time to spool up and start operating again. I wouldn't necessarily want to go while lots of stuff was still closed.

Between A and B. It doesn’t have to be open for months, but I would wait a few weeks for things to open. Still a little stressed though about germs on a plane. I don’t think I could wear a mask for four hours.

Depends on how long this drags out. After a few more weeks if there's no end in sight I might break in to a closed casino and start whacking buttons :)

Ideally I’d like to wait a few weeks before going. But it will be hard to cancel a 3rd trip if this goes far into June.

    I'm probably A.5 - i.e. give it a couple to a few weeks...

Hotels can check you into a room May 1 and turn on the slot machines. The main problem with A however is going to be availability of restaurants, perishable ingredients (often needed for mixed drinks too), and entertainment. They gotta have trucks distribute and restock the casinos. The resorts gave away all their food last month.

I sure hope the local Vegas govt is coming up with an action plan timeline for how to smoothly reopen a casino resort.

Casinos might just be the cleanest they've ever been literally on day 1 of reopen (virus and air quality aka smoke). Trouble for me is that I have to fly to Vegas, so that means being confined in the cabin of an airplane. But if I was within driving distance then I'd almost certainly be A...

Well the interesting thing is Jim Murren, former CEO of MGM, is the chair of the state of Nevada's covid taskforce response team so you can bet the casino industry's feelings are being heard at that level.

I flew a couple weeks ago, necessary return trip home..... and it was the best experience I've had in the air in ages......plane was mostly empty, airport was a breeze, everything was super clean. Everyone afraid to travel, nobody within rows of us.

I've already gambled - rebooking my March and April rooms at Cromwell and flights for May 15th and June 11th. Sure do love Southwest policies. I actually saved $52 when re-booking flights.

    B. We’re targeting early October to re-book the big family trip. I’m estimating the casinos won’t open before June 15 at the earliest. As others have mentioned, it’s going to take time to get the restaurants staffed and stocked and fully operational.

I'm feeling more positive. I think they'll be open in May at some point. Right now in Nevada there isn't even 1/10th of 1 percent of the population with cases. Lets hope the hot spots start to decline in the next couple of weeks.
