Starting 7/21, Palazzo Hotel rooms will be closed on weekdays, per their website. The casino will remain open.

Our neck of the woods in Ontario is moving to “phase 3” on Friday so our local is allowed to be open. No word yet on protocols but we will be there to support the workers (and win some money) ASAP.

 

we tried to take bellagio shortcut but was closed off and so was the Starbucks in vdara.

I would stay home to be honest especially after Sunday now was a real pain to get a drink anywhere and with all bartops closed.

having to rely on cocktail only service at slots was a pain.

also cab and lyft are a former shadow of themselves almost missed flight since couldnt get a taxi nor Lyft for 6am departure this morn. ended up having to pay $40 for lyft black from aria to terminal one.

in no hurry to go Back. also so many places say there were open for resort restaurants but then you go there and they are closed or only open for dinner.

Yeah, availability is really limited. Most people are staying home either for safety reasons or because they're making more on unemployment. And the ones who are out on the road are not exactly the cream of the crop; I had one guy who got lost on the way from Aria to MGM Grand, which is not exactly rocket surgery.

 

Good to know! Borat and I were talking about just rolling around the casino with our own bar setup in a cooler with wheels....might be kinda fun....sorta like camping, but inside Aria!

 

yeah fuck at 430 am some guy takes some random ass route was almost ready to bail at the excalibur i15 bridge had no idea his planned route.

yeah we talked to several cabbies and a lyft driver about same thing too many incentives to stay home makes hell for the tourist for sure the one cab supervisor who gave us ride from palazzo to aria sat said they only had 50 taxi in during shutdown for the whole city

aria taxi stand guy prob.late 30s.early.40s said he is ready to get outta town too lived there his whole life but deff a change in crowds in last couple years. told him sodak is real nice sure would be a nice change for him.

 

I was thinking of coverting a bladder pack to hook to a mask. LOL hang some hand sanitizer off that thing and refill with vodka or booze of choice! Sipping and walking. LOL

No. That bar is small compared to the big VP bar on the other side of the casino if you just count seating at the bar.
