I signed up for the cashless system that some Boyd casinos use maybe 2 years ago when it came out. I did it just to see if I liked it, and also assumed it was a way to avoid atm fees or a way to get more money if I was over my atm daily limit .

I assumed it was free, but then I saw they charged me $9 just to transfer $200 into it. I’m sure there’s a transfer out fee as well but you can avoid that by just transferring any cash into a slot then cashing out in a TITO.

I’ll never pay to use it again, but one nice feature is if you are done playing a machine and say you have like .68 cents left in it and can’t do another bet, if you pull out your card it uploads that into the wallet. All those small amounts add up and I’ll have some money in it by the end of a trip to then play or cash out. There’s no charge for that it’s just to transfer in or out of a bank account.

Don’t really see this taking off though unless it’s free. It’s too much work for a tourist who doesn’t care about fees to sign up for, and for a regular gambler who would probably use it, they have cheaper ways to get money, like markers, etc

Then allow people to gamble with fractions of Bitcoin if you want to be "buzzy". But we arent talking about average visitors to Vegas here. Those are the people that might order lobster tail, without checking the price first. Or are OK with paying $3.50 for a can of soda in the hotel vending machine, so they dont have to walk to a CVS.

It is not IMO more convenient to go to the cage and transfer real money into digital money to gamble with. Or to dick with my phone moving money around in order to play a slot machine. I agree, people on vacation will pay for convenience. But I don't see this as that.

It's not about actually doing it, it's about being able to put "CASHLESS!" in the marketing materials.

They'd probably do the bitcoin thing too if Gaming would let them. But alas, even having the bitcoin ATMs in the vicinity of the floor is kind of questionable in their eyes.

I gambled 3 nights at resorts world and earned about 115k tier. No idea how it's calculated. I went and paid for my room ( used my hilton account to book the room), but went to the host office when checking out and she wiped out over $600 in room charges.
I inquired about any possible future offers and was told that what ever the system generates and messages yo uis what you get. I guess I am too small time as she did not even attempt to get me to come back even though I told her about my MGM offers I get for Aria.

Anyone know how their tier is calculated? I want to assume it would be like MLife or Grazie?

It is a shame they do not offer me anything decent as I do love the 1 bedroom suites there and I like playing poker and slots there.

Took me 3 months to get decent offers. I played there a conch in March and got an offer for 50% off rooms. Didn’t go back. Then later a good offer starting in July with decent freeplay and some food credit. Just seems to take a bit to catch up there

To be honest, I don't even know how to check how many tier credits I have. The only thing that shows in my profile, is how many total points I have. But thats just points used for free play. Not an actual rating. It took about 3 months for me to generate an actual offer. Like Big Slotter below, I got a generic discount email. But im sure thats just from marketing. And eventually got my real offer, which is inline with what I get from MGM and CET. $500 free play, $200 in free food and a nice room.

Exactly the same with me. I just got an offer, to use with an offer. $150 in bonus free play if I booked by a certain date.

Sounds like RW is too busy posting nonsense on the giant LED screen out front than to figure out their player program and website.

RW interests me but it see like it still stuck in “soft opening” mode, so I’ll stick to the more polished casinos.

I played there a bunch in June - got upgraded due to match with Elite Diamond - got a handpay
and have not heard a peep from them. No offer at all. I have no idea how many points I ended up with.
It was dead as a doornail the day I went - I was the only person in the High Limit room and while wandering
around the floor there was no one playing. Strange place. Seems like they don't really court players like other
casinos do. I liked it for playing though - it was pretty and the chairs are super comfy - but it was lifeless in the Casino.
I certainly had my pick of machines and had no one near me while playing lol. In fact there was no one at all!

I did 150k coin over 2-3 nights in early June plus table play and still no offer either. My host booked me for Labor Day and made up her own offer. I’m surprised how long it takes for the computer to recognize the play!

90 days seems like the norm for their system to spot your play, and generate an offer. At least that was how it worked for me, and some others who have posted in here.

It was pretty much the exact same as I get from CET or MGM in town. Same free play, comp credit and decent room. I used to get more free play from Cosmo, before MGM took control. To be honest, if Resorts World is only giving me what I can get at any "like" resort in Vegas. Then that isnt enough for me to move my play to a stand alone casino (unlike the others) and spend my vacation way down on that end of the Strip.

IMO, since they appear to still be hurting for players. They need to offer more/better than their competition.

Reminds me of the danger of Cruise Casinos. You can charge all you wanna play to your cabin vice using ATM and Cash..no thanks. Even if no charge I would rather do the whole take cash out at once. I did the charge to your cabin once for 1k. Lost it then got hit in the stomach again when I saw the 1k charge on my cabin bill. Made me very sad! I lose money I do not wanna be reminded lol.
