TinyWildcat is a longtime friend and fellow Vegas enthusiast although she doesn't go nearly as often as I do. I've only been on one other girls trip so I'm looking forward to this one! Leaving at O'dark thirty tomorrow getting into Vegas about 9:30 am. We are at Caesars til Sunday, then Venetian til Tuesday. Neither of us have stayed at Venetian but they sent me a teaser offer so we are trying it out. No set plans yet but tentative plans are pool time, a few NBA Summer League games, MJ One and some nice meals. Definitely doing Lavo and Bouchon for brunch, Bacchanel buffet for a meal, and Table 10. Still deciding on the rest. And OF COURSE, lots of slotting around and cocktails! I'm admitting upfront that I'm awful at live posting. I'm known to go off the grid while Vegasing . I'll try to at least post once a day but that's the best I can do! I was going to up my bank roll this trip and do some high limit but after seeing so many people losing I think I'll keep it the same. Thinking back on past trips I don't remember ever having great summer gambling trips. Plus hubby was so sad he wasn't getting to come with, I booked us a weekend at French Lick Indiana for later this month so I'll need to fund that trip as well. Not always but this summer all of Emeril's Vegas restaurant have one including Emeril's New Orleans Fish House at MGMGrand. I haven't eaten at the Fish House in a while because last time service was a bit lame, but I might give it another try with Mom later this month.

Sad to say going to bed at 9:30 Vegas time but it's 12:30 my time and I've been up since 3:00 am. Down $50 but have lots of fun, good food and loooooots of drinks thus far. Calling night 1 a win! This always happens to me my first night in Vegas. I'm exhausted and in bed early and awake by 3:30 am. Last trip I gave up and started my gambling day at 4 am. I couldn't believe how crowded Aria was at that time. Good luck today!
