With Cosmo being sold to MGM and the rewards card eventually changing to MLife, Without Identity which Casino Rewards program is best for building tier reputation and receiving comps? I mostly play slots.

    Thanks

The merge of players card likely won’t happen for years. Even Borgata isn’t still fully integrated.

I think the key is what will MGM do to the various benefits especially gold and platinum after the sale is closed but before a merger of players club. The free tier nights and companion rooms are really nice perks. And then at the platinum level…the airport transfer, annual resort credit, etc….

I doubt it would take years. Caesars and El Dorado did it in less than one and that is a huge portfolio of properties and players; Cosmo is just one. I expect the player club merger to be pretty quick as MGM is gonna want to cut those better perks fast lol.

It took YEARS for them to switch over from the Player's Club to Mlife... and it was their own program!

I think it'll take years. But, in the meantime, good VP at the bars will probably soon be a thing of the past.

^ Yeah, but at this point that change over happened a long time ago. Integration technologies have advanced a lot since then. I HOPE it takes a very long time, but again, considering how fast Caesars just did it across a large portfolio of properties nationwide, I don't see it taking longer than that.
Oh, and yeah, VP is getting cut right away for sure. lol

The Borgata to mlife migration was relatively recent and Borgata is still treated separate in some ways. At any rate… no use in guessing with too many unknowns.

Agreed. I was actually in AC when Borgata finally flipped to Mlife last year. At the same time, Trop went to Caesars Rewards within months of the merger.

That had to do with Borgata, as a stand alone property in AC. There was really no need to get them online with the other Mlife joints, since there wasn't another Mlife joint in AC to link to.

It was always on the back burner there. But, in Vegas, not so easy to do. Its bad enough that that an Mlife casino in Vegas, earned points and rewards different than an Mlife casino in AC. Which in turn also earns points differently than in other markets, like Detroit or the Beau ETC. But, if Cosmo Mlife didnt work like Aria Mlife a hundred yards away, that would be a major flop.

They will get it done fast.

To answer the OP's question, if you are looking for multi-casinos, then Mlife is still better that CET. IMO, as a slots player, Cosmo was the best in Vegas. Followed by Treasure Island, and then Mlife

In the past I have seen MGM remove 9/6 jacks from higher denomination machines ($25 and even $5 multi hand.)
For a while the best game they offered was 8/6 bonus poker.
Now it seems like they’ve lost too much play to competitors like Cosmo and have put back the 9/6 jacks on the higher denomination game kings,
While at the same time cutting point play to compensate.
So essentially Mlife was too generous (in their minds) and they are adjusting it downwards.
Or in other words, the base earning rate will be lower giving them more opportunity to offer bonus multiplier days like they did over the summer with 4x on HGS points
