    Hi all,

What is your favorite fine dining option on the Strip?
I have some MLife express comps that I need to burn through, but all other property recommendations are appreciated too! :)

Mizumi at the Wynn and Sinatra. Mlife I like the ambiance of Bavettes or Lago. I also thought Bazaar Meats at the Sahara was fantastic. I’ll let you know in a couple weeks if I like E at Cosmo .

@Mawboi I didn't know there is a Sinatra themed restaurant at the Wynn. Do they play Sinatra in the background as well?
How is Bazaar Meats? I always wanted to try there but didn't get a chance to. Is it worth driving a while to?

Have you all been to Hell's Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay? What are your thoughts about that place?
I booked it for this trip since I've been wanting to try it for couple years now. But not sure if it's just a hype being a Gordon Ramsay restaurant or not lol

Bazaar meats was excellent . It’s a Jose Andres restaurant. Quality of what we had and the service was great. They put a unique twist on their appetizers. Sinatra’s is themed with Sinatra mementos and at the bar they play his movies. Food quality was excellent.

On my list but haven’t tried it. Tried his steak restaurant in the Paris twice and will not return.

I think we ate at Hells Kitchen when it opened for lunch. It wasn’t memorable but I don’t remember it being bad.

It's certainly not bad, but I didn't find it particularly memorable. Ramsay's restaurants in Vegas can be hit-or-miss. I personally liked the steak place, thought the burger place was decent enough but basically on par with Holstein's at Cosmo. As an aside, I recently started catching up on this season of Hell's Kitchen, and did not realize that (1) they filmed it all the way back in 2019, and (2) despite some chatter about filming it at the actual restaurant, they built a whole separate set. And in case this matters to you, they're definitely very kid-friendly.
Bazaar Meats is absolutely phenomenal. Do not, under any circumstances, neglect to get the cotton candy foie gras (which I had the first time I went, thought it was "meh", and then an hour later it was haunting my dreams; it's one of the weirdest and best dishes I've ever had), or the mashed potatoes ("butter, butter, more butter, some potatoes").

You mean in terms of food? It's a fixed menu that they haven't meaningfully changed since they opened in 1998. The order goes amuse bouche (pheasant croquette with a chilled soup), shellfish salad (usually either lobster or king crab), seared scallop with potato mousseline (this has been identical since the beginning), sauteed foie gras steak (fruit changes from time to time, but be sure to order a glass of the Tokaji or Sauternes with it), entree (usually a choice between some type of fish, lamb, or Wagyu filet for an upcharge), and then dessert.

EDIT: There is also a menu with fewer courses but a little more choice-making, but I have never ordered it. And there's also a whole vegetarian menu, similar in terms of it being fixed courses, but I have never ordered that one either.

Another Picasso fan here. I have had the vegetarian menu and it is very good. Take the wine flights with the courses as well, example menus on the website will give you a very good idea of what you are getting (in terms of food and check) and as 44 says... the menu on the night won't change much, based on historic propensity to switch things around. They are also very fair with fussy eaters and will swap courses around waaay more readily than other tasting menu restaurants seem to be.
I've tipped it many times and often people reply "gee that's not cheap". Well, no, you are going to run up a check for sure. But I've never left there thinking I have had anything other than exceptional value. Much better value than dropping $30 on a so-so burger.

Ah, is the steakhouse really bad? Maybe Gordon Ramsay restaurants in Vegas are all hype :(

@44inarow so do they not film Hell's Kitchen at the Vegas restaurant? For some reason, I thought that the place is supposed to be just like the Hell's Kitchen TV Show experience. Maybe my expectations are wrong lol

@SimonG Ah, that's a good analogy. I like that the place has exceptional "value"!!

They had talked about doing it, and the restaurant itself is modeled after the TV show. But in an early episode, they showed the "restaurant" being surrounded by parking. The actual place is smack in the middle of the Roman Plaza, and it would take some acrobatics to park there.
