Your perfect day in Vegas...

At present, getting my wife there with me (been 5 yrs since she joined me) would do the trick. I know, many other possibles are out there but this would be today's dream. God willing, next April we will dabble together.....

 

Wake up late, brunch, spa treatment in the early afternoon, steak dinner, Hit a WAP, go see the Golden Knights play, Hit another WAP in a high-limit room. Dealt Royal flush playing $.25 cent $100 play.

Be given a suite for my play so they can hope to win it back.

Room service....drink Champagne until I pass out.

Wake up next morning: No hangover.

 

Wake up around 730-830, with MrsDRP still lounging in bed... Go down and play craps for an hour or so without being in the negative, while MrsDRP takes her time readying herself... Head to breakfast together, doesn't really matter where... play another couple of hours of craps, be a bit ahead when at some point MrsDRP slithers up behind me and does that little tap on my shoulder, with that devilish smile on her face which only means one thing..she *finally* hit a decent slot payout... Pool together for a few hours till late afternoon....Play a bit more craps while MrsDRP gets herself all prettied up for our show/concert that evening.... dine together on our way to the show... Play 3-4 more hours of craps after enjoying a great concert, and hit the "All All".....

Just about perfect....

Oh, and the phone doesn't ring during any of the above....

well for me being in vegas is always a happy place for me and as i have been many times for a longer period(44 days in 2016 where the jubilee room in ballys was my home) i have my own routine.
normally as i am a light sleeper(just sleep for 5 hours tops if i am lucky) i wake up have some milk(non fat) at around 7:30 am
Than its off to the spa (if all goes right) first a nice excercise on the crosstrainer for sixty minutes. Than really relaxing in the yacuzzi/steamroom/sauna/wet sauna and icebad for another 60/90 minutes.
Feeling as a king we have a early brunch at some place (ellis island californian is really yummy or we can do an earls sandwich at PH or a chicken terriyaki at subway or have a nice long walk in the sun to a free myvegas buffet luxor/mirage are pretty good )
After a nice meal and feeling great its time to do a mickey mouse pokertournament(i always call them like that with a buy in less than 100$) and win it ofcourse
relaxing for 1 houre or 1,5 at tops at the pool(than i get bored.....paris pool i like the best as its not too loud and spacey and they have the hidden jacuzzi's)
playing another pokertournament and winning it ofcourse(or chopping it as i am a nice guy )
than its time to have a nice dinner and for me it doesnt have to be fancy or not as long as the food is great

after a long evening of fun and winning and drinking we top it of with a nice kebab(grand bazar ballys) with a lot of garlic.
and we have some shuteye to be awake 5 hours later fresh again and do it all over again

 

Only one day huh?

1) The Tesla family private plane lands at McCarran with the Bellagio limo ready and waiting. Just me and Mrs. Tesla on this trip though.
2) No line at VIP check in. "Oh Mister Tesla, you've been upgraded to the Chairman's Suite. We hope that will be OK."
3) Breakfast at Caesar's Palace Buffet - the butler can unpack our stuff.
4) Time to walk off that breakfast, so we head to the Aria. Hit and run blackjack session (as long as we're dreaming maybe I can actually win money there for once)
5) Detour through the Crystal Shops. I pick up some new threads at Stefano Ricci. Mrs. Tesla gets a trip souvenir from Harry Winston.
6) Back to the Bellagio to chill out in the room for a few minutes.
7) Couples massage at the spa. Mrs. Tesla spends the rest of the afternoon at the pool while I hit the poker room for a couple hours.
8) Dinner at Picasso. "Oh Mister Tesla we have your favorite table waiting and the sommelier has prepared special wine pairings for you both."
9) Time to get that rating taken care of, so after dinner we play a few shoes of flag-level blackjack in the Club Prive ("We'll need a marker please, two hundred thousand - we'll both be playing so please combine our action."). The single malt flows freely.
10) We're up 250k (most of that due to Mrs. Tesla, who's way luckier than I am whenever we play together especially out of a combined bankroll). Mrs. Telsa says, "Hey honey, let's go upstairs." Color in!
11) Time for bed!
12) approx one hour later - NOW we're tired, time for some sleep!

 

The perfect day for me begins by waking up anytime after 9 a.m. in any Wynn Tower Suites room (I am up before 7-8 a.m. every day). My husband is already dressed and ready. I take my time getting ready and we both enjoy breakfast at Tableau. We spend the morning going through the shops in the Esplanade and each select something extravagant for ourselves. We change to our pool clothes and spend the afternoon in a cabana. Go up to the room and change for dinner, which is at SW. We take in the late show for Rod Stewart or Elton John and return to Wynn. We grab a drink and find side-by-side $5 denomination Double Top Dollar machines that get on a roll and we play for hours on our initial stake. I don't really care if we finish ahead or not, just play and root each other on during the bonus round for hours. We go to bed sober enough not to be hung over the next morning, which is Sunday, by the way, and we enjoy Sterling Brunch at Bally's. The sad thing is we are only back from Wynn for four days now and could have done most of the things on this list that we could control. Instead, we gamble hard, stay up late and get up early and focus on nothing else.

 

The first day I'm there of a trip always seems to be perfect, especially the first 30 minutes. The euohpira is something I cannot put into words, the possibilities always seem endless and I can't stop smiling.

 

Just being in Vegas is my perfect day.

 

This alone would make for an excellent Vegas day.

This one is a close second. There's a partner at my firm who never needs me for anything unless I'm in Vegas, during which time he always has an urgent issue. It's not even like it's intentional, he usually has no idea when I'm out there. It's the same sort of sort of universe-torturing-me magic that results in nobody ever coming by my office unless and until I step out.
