Anybody ever requested a change of host at Caesars? I really don't like this guy. Maybe I've been spoiled by my other hosts, who I adore, but I this guy annoys me every time I try to deal with him.

Ha. No direct knowledge, but my Cosmo host seems hit or miss at times, but then 3 weeks after I send an email or request something it's actually setup exactly how I want.

For the most part, I've had great luck with my hosts. Hell, my favorite host once returned my call within 5 minutes and he was on a plane on his way to Italy. This Caesars guy though, you'd think I was asking for his first born child when I reach out to him. I don't expect everyone is going to be as good as my favorite, but I at least expect him to at least not be a dick when he can be bothered to get back to me. Then he gets angry if I book direct without going through him. Dude, if you didn't suck so much I'd be happy to let you handle everything for me. I don't know, maybe I'm just grumpy this week from having to deal with shitty customer service from two other companies in the past few days.

I've great host at Tunica, Southern Indiana, Cherokee and Kansas City, but the one in Vegas really sucks. It takes her forever to get back to me (usually after I've given up and booked direct) and she has told be on a couple of occasions "that I have other accounts too". I pretty much always book direct in Vegas now. I once requested a change and I briefly got someone from "player development" who was great (but only worked part-time?), but than it went back to the original one.

I think the rule is if you have to book with a different host for 3 consecutive trips. If you haven’t booked a trip at Caesars in over a year, you should also be a free agent.

Well I had an April trip booked, but it of course had to be cancelled. I've been to other Non-Vegas Caesars properties in that time, but not Vegas. I think I booked that April one without my host anyway if I recall, because it took him too long to get back to me.
So I probably should wait till I'm there next month and see if I can connect with a less awful host maybe?
Anyone heard if the Laurel Lounges are reopening anytime soon? - I feel like that is my best chance to strike up a convo with a different host.

I don’t think the lounges are opening until standalone bars can open.

I had a CZR host In Vegas years ago that was worthless. Wouldn’t respond to messages, but also wouldn’t let me go either. Finally after a trip to Vegas that he confirmed was “all set “ but when I arrived there wasn’t a room for me, I did something I’ve never done before.

I just started blasting him on Surveys. Eventually they either fired him or gave me someone else. So if the current host won’t help you and they won’t let you go, I’d hit them on the survey side of things. In a relationship based business those count for something. From personal experience, I’ve held a job where even a 9 out of 10 is a bad survey that hurts your bonus.

On the flip side: My current hosts are real “Johnny on the spot” types. They get outstanding surveys from me. I’ve even sent a hand written Note to one’s manager for going above and beyond.

I had to find out who their boss was and then made my case. Some hosts haven't even lasted that long. If you find another host you like, that can help with the transfer over.

I was told it had to be done in person. And if you want a short cut, you have to know what host you want to switch to. That is why you will often see threads on here, or other boards, with things like "Who has a good host at Paris" or whatever.

I was coded to a host at my local Horseshoe, and he sucked. The biggest downside was, his casino doesn't even have a hotel. He would call me too much trying to get me to come play, without offering anything more to do so. It would just be "Hey, you know you have $50 in free play, why don't you come out Saturday to play"

I don't mind a host checking in every now and then, most have become friends by now, and we just talk about work, kids and life. But this guy was way too pushy, and insisted I use him to book my Vegas stays as well.

Long story short, my Brother had a good host at the local Harrahs. He told my brother to bring me in, and once I was on property, if I requested a switch, he could take me over. And that is exactly what happened. I went there, he took me in the hosts office. Introduced me to some other host boss, told him I wanted to make a switch. I showed my ID, handed over my players club card, and 5 minutes later I was thanked, told I had a new region host (this guy) and I was done.

Horseshoe guy never called me again, and Harrahs new host has been delightful so far.
