    We've hit most of the steakhouses at V/P and we're looking to branch out a bit for our 30th anniversary/wife's birthday dinner during SF. We've never hit Carnevino, whaddya think?

    A friend of mine kept on at me to try it, which I did, and unfortunately our party was disappointed.

    I've tried it another 2 times since, and while it was better, I much preferred CUT.

    Pastas and appetisers were great, though.

    I'm a big fan. The octopus app is ridiculously good. And all the steaks I've had have been great.

    Completely agree. I guess I find Cut to be bland and "overly-corporate".

    I've eaten there several times but prefer Cut over it. One of my favorites is SW Steakhouse at Wynn as long as I can get patio seating. :)
