CBB’s “Natural” Return to Vegas May 28-June1

    Vegas MDW is less than 48hrs away so seems appropriate to start a TR(a first), especially after a 15 month hiatus! Super excited about this trip for the obvious reason, but to add to it a few of my Vegas buds, they're more than Vegas buds now, will also be in town over the weekend and I have not seen them since July 2019! No names but they know who they are and will contribute here, or not. Hoping for a few surprises from others as well.

    My group includes Mrs. CBB, 2 friends from our home city, and 2 friends who moved to LA area a few years ago who we typically meet us in Vegas a few times a year.

    I've been an Aria junkie for about 10 years with one quick stay at Cosmo 2 years ago. The usual is Aria for us and Cosmo for friends. I've always spent a lot of time at the Cosmo bacc tables, mainly HL and some Talon, but only one stay - while Mrs. CBB is a Cosmo virgin. Aria host is no longer there so decided to stay at Cosmo - will see if I can turn Cosmo into my new home base.

    Plans are simple. Pool time during the day, dinners, and gambling(mainly bacc with some bjack mixed in). Dinner plans are somewhat typical other than Bavette's which will be a first. Carbone and Zuma are set with the last night being up in the air but with reservations at Javier's and Scarpetta(never been).

    Since my last trip in Feb 2020 for SB and then again 2 weeks later, we now have a few non-stop flight options which makes the 4.5hr flight easier. Wheels up Friday 7am EST touching down 8:55am.

    Almost go time!

    Safe travels, man! 90s and sunny all weekend, and the insane winds have gone away (we were getting 50mph gusts the other day).

    What kind of car is that, by the way? Not that I really ever know the difference, just curious. Based on the steering wheel looks like a Caddy?

    EDIT: Sorry, just saw the part about them being Escalades. Whoops. This is what I get for posting at 3am.

    I love seeing wins, but especially when it's a 16 or 14. Just a curiosity question, @BS what was going on with those $30 bets behind the black chips?

    It's just the dealer had to remove the top chips aside in order to properly count and pay the stack. It's always like this when a stack consists of mixed chips.

    Huh, interesting. I've never seen that but also don't spend a ton of time at Cosmo. I was just curious because they usually do that but with the wagering spot (as opposed to what I'm assuming a dealer tip bet above). But hey, all money is good money!
