Are you sure the machine is actually holding cards for you?


All video poker machines display a winning hand category to remind you that you have a dealt winner. But it's all up to you whether to hold it or not. You could throw it all away if you want.


The multipliers are based on the hand category you are dealt. High pair only gets one 2X at 10 play for 9 bonus hands (10X multipliers total when non multiplied hands are included), but a dealt 2 pair gets 20X for the 9 hands total.


In a Ten play game, bonus hands are awarded with these multipliers on TDB.


Jacks or better, 10X total

2 pair, 20X total

3 of a kind, 30X total

Straight, 30X total

Flush, 40X total

Full House, 50X total

Quads+, 10X total


So if you get dealt AA784 you're stuck with just 10X total up top.


But if you get KK776 you'll get 20X total up top regardless of whether you hold KK or KK77 (KK77 is correct, btw).

You say the multipliers change based on what you hold??? If the sum of the multipliers stay consistent, that really doesn't matter. And all your pictures have the correct multiplier sums at all times. However, on videopoker.com at least doesn't work that way on the play money game. Once the multipliers are awarded, they do not change for the hand.

And in true videopoker.com play money fashion, this was my very first hand. Note the multiplier sum is 30X for the top 9 hands (remember 1X for unmultiplied hands). Sigh... I don't like to win on play money. Lol

 

Niteshade, I signed up on videopoker.com because of your TR, I played Powerhouse video poker on it and it was fun. I think I will try it at Gold Coast when I go to Vegas in Jan. Do they have Bonus Poker on Powerhouse machines? Would you tell me where are the Powerhouse machines located, Thanks!
