On a $300 bill there isn’t enough markup they needed to add another 3%. So slimy.

This is inline with my local butcher who charges $0.05 for a bag to carry our stuff out. When a couple steaks runs $40, sure. When you go in and buy a prime rib for $120 - why 5 cents for a bag at that point.

Most of these fees, whether flat fee or percentage based, should have some sort of a minimum amount for exemption. Encourages the customer to buy more too. Win win.

We did take your suggestion on my need another place for dinner post in the October thread.

    So good!

A warning though. SOOOO much bread! It is so good! But most of appetizers came with more bread, we barely ate our dinners!

That’s little different as it’s to cut down on single use plastic waste.

We had the exact same experience at Bavette's. I think next time we go, we will share an app or order none so that we could enjoy our main course. Apps were delicious though....nothing stops us from returning, sitting at the bar, and just ordering an app.

There was actually over 3300 attendees. I'm home and had a blast. Seeing my room was paid for by the union Aria host comped all my meals which was nice seeing I got a per diem for food and didn't have to use it, you know what that meant...meal allowance went to the slot gods but no wins lol.

We had a late lunch at the pool (Im hooked on the goddess or buddah bowl they have with brown rice, edamame, shitake mushrooms) so I ended up getting a burger lol. It was fantastic so next trip I am 100% getting steak and lobster if they have it but no bread next time because I barely finished my burger.

We "tried" to be really careful not to over fill on bread, but then there was more with the shrimp scampi. Had to take a lot home which made it really hard to convince the wife we ate at Taco Bell after the round! :)

Great trip and nice you could layer in the work stuff to maximize your comps!

It took a few nights, but I finally made it through this TR! I really wish I had been following along last month, but as is the case for all of us sometimes, work and everyday life can get busy, and last month Vegas was one of the last things on my mind...imagine that! Anyway, I'm happy that I finally had a chance to get caught up, and thanks to everyone who contributed! What a great assortment of pictures...@Pleasemum's trip to Valley of Fire, @Mr2BOBCATS' golf course pictures, and of course, everyone's pictures from Cosmo and Chandy. I can only imagine how many orange lemon drop and chocolate martinis Greg served to VFers alone last month!

The other day I logged into my Identity account for the first time in a couple of months and noticed that I not only had a November offer, but also standalone offers for December and January as well. It would certainly be a shame to let all three of those go to waste...

I first met Jarred at Chandy a few years ago. He was sitting next to me and we started chatting, as I noticed that his keno pattern was similar to the 5 spot "plus formation" pattern that I usually play. At that time he was only playing a 5 spot card, so at some point between then and now apparently he decided to up the ante from a 5 spot to a 7 spot. That's a pretty big leap...odds of hitting 5/5 are 1 in 1,550 while odds of hitting 7/7 are 1 in 40,979. When I play 4 card, I'll usually bet 3-5 credits on my 5 spot, but only 1 credit on the 7 spot. The 5 spot hits now and then, but I realize that the 7 spot is very much a pie-in-the-sky dream, and I've hit it only once. That said, if you have the bankroll to play what's essentially 7 spot single card keno at $20 a pop, more power to you, and it's great to see that Jarred has bucked the odds!
