The NeverEnding Vegas Vacation

Yeah, it's a lot of effort, but I gotta do it. I really like going back and reminiscing at times. That's partly why i try to put in every detail even if it's ~trivial.

Nah, buttons have been fixed, only issue was the paper jam for my drink tickets and duplicates.

Yeah, hope our trips line up soon!

Haha yeah, I could see them asking that. You could always add spice, but not subtract. I like spicy food, but a 3 was still good for me, and I could see myself regretting over a 5. M would probably need a -2. She can't handle ANYTHING spicy.

 

Epilogue:

After the trip, M wasn't happy with SWA of course. Neither was I, but I really hate complaining on the phone.

First she wrote an email while we were still in Vegas. She got a form letter response.

When we got our flight rescheduled a 2nd time, the gate agent gave us a local number to call.

Well when M called that number, it was an employees-only line. Oops. Lol

Then we find the main customer service line on the net.

First guy claimed he couldn't hear us on speakerphone when she called and hung up.

2nd one said we had the wrong number. Gave us new number.

3rd one said we chose wrong department. Right department wasn't an option then because they are only open from 9a-3p CDT?!?!?!?!

She called back the next day about 11:30 am. She was on hold beyond 3 pm!!! Thank God they didn't shut the line down at 3. If you were in line, they would get to you. After 4 hours and 28 minutes on hold, she got a representative.

The rep tried to give the line that SWA was having troubles, etc. But M just kept piling on all the annoyances they put us through.

The agent talked to her bosses. They offered $250 each in vouchers!!! That roughly 6 hours of total effort might have been worth it I guess.

Currently in STL right now for the holiday. Went to Hollywood St. Louis with my mom tonight.

So close to my first handpay, but my biggest win outside of Vegas!





And eclipsed what we lost in Vegas! M had only lost $33 in Vegas after all the freeplay she had.

So another trip in September looks even more likely than before!
