Finished off this bottle last night. Luckily I do have a backup. But I’ll switch to something else before I get back to Eagle Rare. Got a little bit of Weller Special Reserve left so I may work on that. Running out of room in my liquor cabinet so I need to clear out some of them that have just a little bit left.

It is always difficult to finish off the last bit for me. Do you keep any empty liquor bottles? We keep an empty if it is a cool bottle or if we buy it overseas.

I keep the stoppers from Blantons bottles as there are different ones and they spell out Blantons and are different strides of a horse. But I’ll toss the bottles. I have a Blantons that was bought abroad but the only difference is there isn’t a bar code or the government warning. If the barrel date were a special date I’d keep it. Or if I ever got a Pappy bottle I’d keep that.

yup between 500-2500, i am actually debating on going to a restaurant and buying the eagle rare17 bottle they have by the shot @ $50 a shot since my i found out that its gonna cost me 1000 bucks anyways might save me 150 dollars haha

on a side note if anyone is looking to trade anything for EHT small batch, Weller SR, or Eagle Rare i have quite a bit available.

Not super interested in way overpaying for pappy. One day I’ll get a pour of pappy just to sample. I feel liked there is a diminishing returns as the price gets over $100. The most I’ve paid has been just over $100 for Blantons gold. I’ve got some Weller Antique 107 and Full Proof (store pick) which would cost way more on secondary but I totally lucked out and got them for retail.

I can’t ever find any EHT on the shelf here much an 18yr marriage. I’d settle for BIB or small batch.

Not the banana bread beer! I've only had it on tap. Ridculous level of banana. Fortunately i only got a sample. No way I could drink 12 oz.

That's why they made it 11.2 oz...lol. It was the first time I have tried it and it reminded me of some Belgian beers I have had in the past.
