Your tales of accidentally playing on the wrong denomination? Good and bad?

Frequently I’ll fuck up and bet $50 when I intended to bet $5, on dragon/lightning link (won’t realize it’s set to DOLLARS instead of DIMES and hit the spin button)

 

Two weeks ago at Aria, I walked up on a cheering group with a little old lady sitting at a machine over by the Lift Lounge. She hit Bet 30 thinking it was .30 cents, it was $30.00, her FIRST spin went for a $3,300 free spin bonus. Happy story. Most of the cheering group was her family. She cried, they cried, I cried, It was awesome.

Sat my drunk butt down at it one night at Aria and fired off four spins before realizing my tito was gone and I'd been playing $75 a spin. My Dad is 99 and can fumble around a bit when he's putting his card in and getting situated. Twice in a row when we went he hit max bet on a machine by accident while sitting down and got a bonus both times. Both were for $8.88 . He really didn't cash out big on either, one was $300some and the other was only $100ish. Still a good start to the day. A couple days ago he hit the $24 button on Buffalo Wonder 4 and luckily got his bet back at least.
I was playing next to an old guy on some game once who got in a bonus and was just cleaning up. He had no idea what was going on. I looked over and he had accidently played a $12 spin on his last $20. He got a $2400 hand pay and was actually shaking when it was over.

I'm surprised the casino didn't try to make the case that your drink placed the bet, therefore it would get the payout not you...

At MGM Grand, I was playing all the slots on this one bank. On the last slot, the leprechaun aristocrat one, I put in 100.00. Got two bonus symbols, but not the third. When I tried to spin again, it wouldn't let me...I had it set to dollars and bet 80.00 on that first spin. Can you imagine if I had gotten the bonus

I hit $100 a spin by accident two days in a row at the Beau on Wonder 4 .10 denom. Didn't even get my bet back either time. We all know how much bunch of ladies and ravens would have paid at that bet level.
