Freeplay from MGM Corp Offers Now Auto Loads

Its still annoying, that you have to go through with check-in, as they still need that room number before giving you your free play. And with check-in being 3PM in Vegas, it still slows you down.

You have to either hope they assign you a room (if one is not ready early/on time) or, play the fake room number game with the desk agent. That is where they give you a phantom room #, so you can use your free play while they wait for an actual room to come online.

They should just automatically upload your free play at like 10AM the day of check in. And avoid all of the other games. You cant cancel your reservation the same day it starts anyway. And if they are worried someone would use that free play, and not take the room they booked. They should be more worried about taking a room out of inventory, for people that booked just to get free play, and would then just check out.

I like starting my stay with Free Play. Its the one time I know I'll be ahead there. If my room isnt ready, I still want to drop my bags at the bell desk, and go gamble to kill time until it is.

 

I don’t think you need to check in first. Or maybe they just recently changed that. When I got to NoMad Saturday I didn’t attempt to check in, we went directly to the VP bar and my $125 was loaded.

I haven't stayed with MGM since last August. But they needed my room number at the players club desk, to load the free play. The same as they always have in the past. From their offer posted above "upon check-in".

If you dont need to check in, that would be awesome and speed everything up!

 

Does this make include the nominal $25.00 Konami FP as well?
