Normally out host makes our limo reservations, but this time we are staying in another hotel first and need to arrange our own transportation there... what limo company would you recommend? I called the hotel we are staying at first and for them to arrange, it was about $150 which is more than I expected.

Thank you. I tried to call them, but I was on hold forever and then left a message. Thought about doing an online reservation but I’m not clear if the price includes all taxes and fees or if that will be more. Doesn’t really seem to say and even with entering all info, doesn’t really show a price breakdown to let me know if that’s it without actually booking. Any idea what the average is for a limo to a strip hotel?

Presidential is who I always use, both for myself and for friends/family/clients. They're great. There's an option on the website to enter your number and then have them call you back. You might want to wait until a bit later, mid-day is a busier time.

For an actual stretch limo it's usually about $100. I just ran a quote from LAS to Aria, and it showed around $100 for a limo, $70 for a sedan, but unfortunately I wouldn't necessarily go by me, because I have an account with them so there are discounts but also included tips.

Thank you. I just decided to go ahead with the online booking and it was $85 including all taxes / fees, but not tip.

Now the question... the second hotel we are staying at always provides a limo... is it acceptable to have them pick us up from the first hotel? I don’t want to annoy my host... Thoughts?

Someone with personal experience can weigh in, but I do know plenty of people who have done this and it's never been a problem. And I've had friends send a car to pick me up from one hotel and bring me back to their hotel. I can't speak universally, but they really don't care; the point is to get you to their property, generally doesn't matter whether you're coming from the airport or another resort.

EDIT: I mean "personal experience" in terms of actually asking a host themselves. I've been in host-organized transport, just have never asked myself to have it arrange.

I used Presidental last trip and got the Tesla round trip. I booked online and honestly I don’t remember if it included tip in that price. But they were on time and the driver was easy to contact.

AWG Ambassador is usually good as well.

If you're just doing a normal online booking it does not include the tip (my account has one auto-added). Also, they sometimes do random upgrades -- I booked a standard sedan for my girlfriend and they upgraded her to a Model X, which is still four wheels and an engine, but has those cool gull-wing doors.

You should definitely check with your host. I sometimes stay at 2 properties each trip and have had my host arrange transportation between the two.

I think presidential was bought out by Kaptyn. We've used them our last two trips and they were fine. Not as nice or good as prez, but good enough if you don't wanna deal with cabs or uber.

I second Presidential/Kaptyn. You can book thru Presidential’s site or Kaptyn’s. I use Kaptyn for one way airport SUV pickup and then use Uber SUV on trip back to airport.

No issues using Kaptyn/Presidential for friends lately. They're consistently pretty good.
