Aside from getting the room for free upfront, what comp entices you the most?

    1. Freeplay
    2. Food
    3. Concert or Show
    4. Slot tourney entry
    5. Gift (that we normally regift)
    6. other

For me it's the slot tourney, I like 2 days events that include some sort of dinner as well.

Free play. Free room and free play is all that matters to me. I hate slot tourneys, don't really care for shows, doesn't cost much for my bananas and coffee..
Under other, if I got free entry to any of my bingo tournaments that would be cool, but they don't do that.

A room comp is most important to me. No resort fees is a big plus... anything beyond that is gravy.

Same here. I've never done a slot or table game tourney so that might be fun to once.

Food. I'm going to gamble it up Freeplay or not, but resort credit eases the pain of strip prices for food and drink.

The room is most important to me. After that, it kind of depends on where I am staying. Most places, comped food is my next priority. But a few places, I prefer a comped spa. and back in the days when i went to Tunica more often, the free monthly gift is what lured me there. Not sure that was truly a comp, since the quality of the gift was based on play. but I always knew I was going to gamble enough to qualify for the best gift.

Room comp is most important. Anything on the back end is just a bonus

Wow, I thought free play would have been #1 with a bullet... is it because everyone assumes that the amount of free play will be lower than the value of the other options? That is, if the choice was between $100 of free play, a $100 food credit, a $100 room (inclusive of fees), a $100 show ticket or a $100 gift, would folks still not pick the free play? What if it was $100 cash instead of $100 free play?

Historically, it's been free play. I take the free rooms for granted because that's the first level of comp. Probably why I stick with TI. I typically get $450-$600 FP offer, but they sometimes throw in a bonus for early booking. Booked an offer for mid-April that is room, all F&B, limo and $900 in FP. How can I NOT take them up on that?!

To me, FP IS cash......I definitely am more aggressive with "their" money, but I count on converting that into 80 - 90% cash that I then use for a gambling session.

I think I would still take resort credit. $100 Freeplay is 4 button pushes for me same with cash, under a minute of action. $100 resort credit is an hour at lunch.

It is a room comp for me. Nothing worse than paying for something I rarely use. Also, the price for some rooms are outrageous.

I typically bring what I'm going to gamble so adding more wouldn't really entice me but being able to take the wife on a longer trip or possibly a nice dinner would be better imo.

For me it’s Free play. I’m a pretty basic eater ... pizza yes please. So food comp isn’t that big of deal. So with free play I like the “ thought” of using the casinos money to turn it into real money ...to put in my pocket. :)

I like the MyVEGAS Resort Credit. It is separate from our 6 rewards both of us get.

For Aria we have $400.00 on top of the $100.00 we get with our June offer. We like ordering room service, sitting at our table looking outwardly, and planning our day.

We have had other custom rewards from our host who has been kind to us over the years.

For me it is the bigger and nicer suites since I like to have friends over to just hang out. Everything else is a plus and usually on the backend. Usually given f&b up front too but to a certain dollar amount per day.

Room nights and room type level are #1, then freeplay, don't care about the rest, I'd rather have more FP and no RC.

The freeplay amount has to be out of hand for me to change my routine, though.

Like I had 5 nights booked at PH once with $150 FP & RC and TI offered me $450 FP with a two-night minimum, so I rebooked PH for 3 nights, still kept the FP & RC, and booked TI for two nights and got the $450.

If the TI offer had only been $100, I wouldn't have bothered. Simply moving would have eaten up half of it and I hate moving after only 2 or 3 days anyway.

Even though I've had really good luck on freeplay over the years, I still just view it as microscopically padding the bankroll.

At my freeplay level, if I have a lower-tier property offering me twice the freeplay of a higher-tier property, and no easy way to fit them both in, I'm giving up the extra freeplay and staying at the higher-tier place.

It depends on the amounts of course, but certainly besides a room and no resort fee, freeplay is my #1. Food/resort credit is closely behind. Even though I will have no problem losing $100 in 10 minutes often on a slot, having to pay a $30 resort fee on a comped room drives me nuts, same for buying food at a casino.
I would prefer more freeplay though and less food credit given the choice though. I have had several casino trips where I win on the freeplay right away and never touch my actual bankroll. Worst case it lets me play a little longer.

A slot tournament or a good promo- like the ability to spin a wheel, earn freeplay or whatever is next in my favorite items.

Not a fan of giveways either. Very few have been items I like or use and many have been regifted or are left in my garage in a big pile. If the giveaway was something I couldn't just buy or was some expensive item I wanted but didn't want to spend money on then maybe I would really like, but I would rather they just give me another $20 in freeplay instead.

I'll comment on your "other" category. Drawings. I hate them. I have won 3 smaller ones in my life which was fun, but one was $1000 cash, one for $1000 freeplay and another was a combo of the two for $500. While that was great, I have been through hundreds of them only to be disappointed not being called, and the casino gets super busy. I would rather they just again give everyone $20 instead.
