With the recent nice weather, the allergies have really kicked up here. If you're planning on visiting in the near future and suffer from allergies, make sure you bring your meds.

Fellow allergy sufferer here but I get the added bonus of being physically unable to blow my nose.

You are so right. Allergy season is in full effect here in Vegas. Be prepared if you're heading this way!

@bayoubengal that must feel awful when you're congested and can't blow your nose! I am dying today.

Doesn't it make you drowsy? Was at pharmacy yesterday and they said anything sinus makes you drowsy. But I'm in Canada with an inferior medicated shopping array it would seem!

Hmmmm, maybe try the non sinus, non drowsy version next time and see if it will still do the trick for you. I had bought something last year that was fantastic- but can't remember what it was...grrrrr!

For me, I end up getting sinus migraines and for me two extra strength Advil are the only thing that will touch the pain but sadly doesn't help with congestion.
I have friends that swear by those snot pots for congestion relief....I have never tried it though to comment

Sudafed with pseudephedrin is my go to. None of that substitute stuff. I need the stuff that you have to see the pharmacist for and show your id because people make meth with it. Haha

    Wait a sec.
I thought Vegas is in the desert, with no vegetation at all.
Where does the pollen come from? Or it's not pollen, just sands caused allergies?

There's a lot of dust in the air and there is a bit of spring time vegetation that starts to blossom.

Then I really need to be prepared. I am a long time allergy victim.

A Neti pot works great if you have allergies.

We swear by Claritin D. It really works, but you do have to get it from the pharmacy counter and sign for it.

    Claritin-D doesn't work for me. Zyrtec-D doesn't work either.
Only Allegra-D works for me to certain degree.
Those without -D, completely useless for me.

We were lucky that the first thing we tried worked for both of us. Otherwise no LV trips for us, I'm afraid, as our allergies really act up there.
