Once More Into the Breach, Dear Friends! June 28-July 3

    Ok, a British quote which should be an anathema to someone of Irish ancestry but it's appropriate since we closed the place down on St Paddy's Day. Plus we have our first meal this trip at NFI, so it's a wash.

    Lot's of moving this trip around. First it was supposed to be the April antics, then this week, but someone (cough... @Texas Steph ...cough) said she wasn't going to make it this week and we thought about moving it to the short week to save some vacation, then we heard @momnkid say she and hubs would be in for the 4th, so we booked it. Well as an Irish drinking song wisely says,"She sighed and she swore that she never would deceive me, but the devil take the women for they never can be easy" and they both went this week. Don't care, @Wiscolovesvegas, @GlenCoco, @Hoofy7, and @emmas will be there so it's a better crowd anyway and we'll have more fun without them :tongueout:

    Getting in Sunday afternoon, double booked at NYNY and Cosmo Sun-Tues due to a great MLife offer, then Cosmo alone until mid-day Friday. Made dinner reservations at NFI and Gallagher's Steakhouse in NYNY and Blue Ribbon, Zuma, and Jaleo at Cosmo. First time at Gallagher's for us and I don't think I've seen anyone post about it in a TR, so we'll try to remember to take pics!

    Looking forward to some VP, whisky, old friends and new friends! (and some peace and quiet without some others....they know who they are)

    @IrishDave you will like Gallagher’s. When NYNY and Monte Carlo we’re our home bases, we ate there many times. It’s been about 3 years since we last ate there for my birthday but loved it. Since we stay at PHo or Paris we just don’t seem to get down there much, but I need to remember to make a reservation soon!

    Agreed. I've been there thrice and the steaks are amazing. Haven't been in a while just because my CZR host used to set us up at RC or BLT, but IMO the food at Gallagher's is/was better. A little on the pricey side however the cuts are really big and easily shareable. Stroll over to Nine Fine Irishmen after and have a drink for @Mrs2BOBCATS and I.
