Rycelover spends Christmas in Atlantis - 12/24-12/29

    Back to Atlantis again for the third time this year, as I was here earlier in the year in June on a CET 7* trip, and was back last month on an NCL cruise for two days.

    Slept 2 winks last night and at the airport waiting for an 8:35AM flight to Nassau, Bahamas.

    I booked two rooms at the Royal Tower (one fully comped with $500 FB) and the second at a casino rate, no FB - hopefully I get some of that comped at the back end, but must make sure that I'm rated properly.

    Nothing firm planned in terms of food or activities, but from the looks of things, the weather is cooperating with temps around 80 and sunny each day.

    We are probably going to do the dolphin discovery and all the water rides and slides. You're also going to see some food porn and chip porn. Wifi connection permitting, I'll try to keep this live.

    I don't think I can get into Cove bc I'm staying at in a Royal Tower Suite. Also, as a table player, we're not comped as well as you HL slot ballers. Lols

    Be sure to post pics of royal tower suite maybe I can try to get an upgrade a check in. We are gonna have regular royal tower room.

    Wife and I went over and checked out and strolled around cove pool and hotel I don't think they bother ya as long as don't bring kids over there.

    Have fun at the water park love all the slides!

    Sorry, I was thinking about not being able to get into Cain, the adult pool and beach. Of course I can walk around the Cove. Lols I will drop by one night and check out the scene at the bar by 77.

    The slots in The Cove are in a public area.....Seaglass Lounge. It's only open in the evening.

    I haven't been in a regular Royal Tower balcony but from eyeballing other balcony's I would venture that it's larger. Just looking at the balconys in my line (the column on the right), the top three balconys are larger than the others below them.

    This is definitely larger than the balcony I had in the Cove Tower in June.

    Yeah for sure the reg rooms.balconies are about about 16 inches between railing and patio door.

    Definitely gonna try for upgrade when we arrive for our Wednesday arrival. Suite looks pretty nice for sure.

    Did you make dinner reservations ahead of time by emailing? That was a great tip someone told me to do on our last trip. Emailed about 2 weeks ahead of our trip and reservations were all set.
